19 November 2011 hi!! im facing a big dilemma ...please reply me....i've jst given my 1st group of IPCC this nov.i wanted to advice me whether doing an article-ship in better firms is important or jst focusing into CA-FINAL to clear it in first attempt.
Some says getting a CA-certificate is much important rather than to do an article-ship in better firms, as better firms would enables u in only one field .but I really wanted to do training in better firms.

on the other hand, if i go for training in big firms, den surely i would not be able to do all coaching of CA-FINAL. I am an average student and coaching is my requirement.

please suggest me how can i solve this dilemma??

19 November 2011 Articleship is a must for all CA aspirants. One should take it up seriously and as a part of the curriculum. It is a great opportunity to test out yourself and explore your capabilities. Moreover practical exposure will help you in studies also.
So join articleship in a good firm, but dont forget to study regularly. You will have to manage coaching and your manager both. Than you can take sufficient leave before Final exams for revision and final touches.

19 November 2011 I would strictly advise to go for articleship in Big CA firms than concentrating only on studies. Clearing CA in first attempt hardly matters now looking to present scenario. Recruiters seek the candidate who has good articleship exposure even at the cost of being not first attempt....
