I am prepairing gar 7 to deposit service tax but I find that there is no column of tax period in gar 7 like challans of income tax and sales tax.
However, note it in the bottom portion of GAR-7 for your records.

Now Please advise me I should prepare two seperate challans. One for the first quarter and second one for the 2nd quarter.
And for the Ist quarter St-3 excel utility not calculating interest payable, therefore I have to calculate in on my own
or
I should deposit it without interest
Interest has to be calculated by the payer, ST-3 Excel utility will not calculate automatically.
Payer should deposit ST with interest.

Do I have to calculate interest on service tax and ed. cess seperatly or combined interest can be calculated.
