What is the purpose and significance of FRANKING on forms, such as form for registration of articles?

franking is akin to stamp duty. normally agreements are documented on stamp paper. Franking give the similar validity to agreements.

If u opt for Franking then u dont need to purchase stamp paper.
The charges of Franking is Rs 100 but it cannot be used for all documents in law.
