Four wheelers alignment charges and painting - service tax

02 August 2012 whether service tax applicable for four wheelers alignment charges and painting charges ?

1.service charges received more than 10 lakhs,
2. The service provider is not yet registered with the service tax department.
3. He is also not yet filed the income tax return from the Financial year 2009-10, now he is going to file the income tax return showing the service charges collected as income (abvoe 10 lakhs),
4.Is any problem (ie., service tax) will arise in future after filing the income tax return?

clarify me experts .......

02 August 2012 he should not show more than 9 lacs income from services if the above mentioned service is covered under service tax ambit for f.y 9-10, cz registeration is compulsory if gross receipts cross 9 lacs. plz see and make decision accordingly.
