Kindly provide me the format of explanatory statement for name change of a private/limited company.
Reason of Change: mistake in spelling of the word PRIVATE.

There is no specific format of Explanatory Statements.
However please find the draft as under:
As such your company was initially incorporated with the name............ wherein the spelling of private was wrongly spelled as ...... therefore it would be expedient and justified to rectify the same. To rectify the same, it is required to adopt the procedure of Name Change. Therefore, Your Director recommend passing this resolution as Special Resolution.
None of the directors are concerted or interested in the above resolution.
