16 June 2009 For an Salary Employee, having self occupied House Property, paying Principal Rs. 35,000 & Interest of Rs. 60,000/- pa to Bank, where can he show these amounts ?In Form ITR-2, PART-B, Line 2 it says "enter nil if loss".

17 June 2009 Enter the interest paid on housing loan of Rs. 60,000/- in column 6 of part-B. In schedule HP column 1.a show annual value Nil, show Rs. 60,000/- in 1.g of schedule HP. And in 1.i show Rs. (-) 60000.
