Form c on central sales tax ...clarification needed...

21 October 2012 Dear Experts,
If we make sales to the same buyer 10 times in a month attracting Central Sales Tax rate. Should we have to get 10 Form C from the same buyer or is it sufficient to get 1 Form C that provides the details of 10 invoices made to it.

22 October 2012 You have mentioned the period covered as "one month" - one 'C' Form is sufficient - the breakup of the Invoices may be mentioned on the Form itself and the Form should be issued for the Total value.

23 October 2012 dear rajesh, form C are issued for the period of 3 month therefore details of all the invoices in the 3 months to the party are mentioned in form C. therefore even if you want you can not get seperate form c for the invoices you have mentioned.

23 October 2012 C Forms are issued under the CST ACT, and on quarterly basis - this applies uniformly for all states, Maharashtra as well as other states.
