one form 38 original copy with bill and freight receipt lost in transit and duplicate form 38 copy and bill attached in my record.
what should i do.
please suggest and give favorable advice.

you have to lodge an FIR and submit a copy to the VAT officer with intimation report. He may advise you to advertise in national newspapers for the same to avoid misuse.
