Does Form 25A apply to payment of Rs. 50,000/- each to the Directors of the private company?

As per my understanding, Form-25A will not apply to private limited company.
The provision of section 269 and remuneration clause of the Companies Act, 1956 will not apply to private company. However they will govern by their company's articles.
