Form 23_Name Change & Alteration of A/A

28 June 2010 A Pvt. Ltd. Company has change its name pursuant to Section 21 of the Companies Act, 1956 and also has filed Form No. 23 as per that Section.

Now futher It is required or not to File once again Form 23 for alteration of A/A pursuant to Change of the name?

Experts kindly revert. its very urgent

28 June 2010 Normally for change of name only 1 form 23 is required bcoz you can mention both the business i.e change of mane u/s 21 and A/A alteration u/s 31 in single form 23.

But if you have skip the same in your first form 23 then you have to file second form 23 to report the skipped business to ROC.
