01 June 2013 WE HAVE FILED ETDS FOR AROUND 550 AGENTS.WHEN FORM 16A IS DOWNLOADED FOR ALL 4 QURTERS OF FIN YEAR 2012-13 FROM TRACES SITE, FOR AROUND 10 AGENTS FORM16A IS AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST QUARTER WHEREAS IT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE REMAINING 3 QUARTERS. THERE WAS NO CHANGE IN THEIR PAN NO AND TAX WAS DEDUCTED AND REMITTED AND IT WAS SHOWN IN ETDS ALSO. CAN ANYONE TELL THE REASON FOR NON GENERATION OF FORM 16A IN THE LAST THREE QUARTERS

01 June 2013 It should have been generated if return was properly filed. I am hearing these kind of issues from few days. I think the best option is to contact customer care @

But my question is when etds is filed for all agents at once and when form16a is generated for around 99% of the agenst correclty what is the problem with the remaining agents. Will there be any specific issues related to them.

01 June 2013 You are saying that PAN is correct. You can also check the return submitted by you once again to ensure there was no error on your part. Barring this there should not have been any problem.
