Can an employee whos taxable salary after all the dedcution is less then Rs.180000 demand Form 16 from his employer.
Is there any restriction that the only such employees in whow salary TDS was deducted and deposited can demand Form 16.
My question is that can an employees demand form 16 if there there was no tax deducted from his salay as his taxable income was less than exempted limit.

Yes an employee can ask for form 16 even if no TDS is deducted.

Yes a emplpoyee can approach for his Form 16 even though tax is not deducted
