12 July 2014 what is the defference of FORM NO. 16 (rule 31(1)(a))and FORM NO. 16 (rule 31(1)(b))
under income tax act.

can we issue a form 16 under rule 31(1)(b) of income tax act.

pls reply urgent. because i had issued the form no. 16 under rule 31(1)(b).

12 July 2014 (rule 31(1)(a)) is applicable to issue Form 16
(rule 31(1)(b)) is applicable to issue Form 16A

12 July 2014 i downloaded the form and...it has printed form 16 (see rule 31(1)(b))....but amount of credit does not showing in form...and another problem is i had alloted the form to all the employee...however its showing all the tax deduction.....can this form may be use by employee or it will create any problems

12 July 2014 You might have downloaded the wrong Form so its better if you reissue Form 16 as per Rule 31(1)(a) to the employees.

12 July 2014 its showing the details of deduction of particular employee but ..and also written in form tax deducted at source on salary....

only problem is top the form written rule 31(1) (b) and amount of credit did not print on form...........
