05 May 2014 In case of e-filing of salary returns, one is not required to submit Form 16. Then how can IT dept cross verify the information mentioned in Tax Return is Correct. Does the IT Dept already has the information mentioned in Form 16.

05 May 2014 Yes the IT department is already aware of the fact. Coz the TDS deducted from the salary reflects in 26AS which is generated from Traces(IT Dept).
