26 August 2018 If an employer provides false information in form 16, despite the employee requesting rectification, the employer is not doing the same what action can be taken by the employee. Can the employee file returns based on the actual facts

26 August 2018 If you have sufficient evidence that your Employer has provided false information in your Form 16 and in spite of your best efforts th employer is not rectifying it, you may write a Complaint to the Assessing Officer.

26 August 2018 Since the deadline for filing your income tax returns is very fast approaching,i suggest that you file your return with the proper income details and pay any Interest levied due to the false information in your Form 16. This will save you lot of issues in the future
