Forgot to mention self assessment tax paid in itr

01 August 2014 Hello friends, yesterday I uploaded my return and later I came to know that I had forgot to mention the details of self assessment tax paid.Now also the due date of 31 st July is over.I have paid my whole self assessment tax but have forgot to mention in ITR. Please help me... now what to do? also wil any penalties get attract?

01 August 2014 No penalties. You need to file revised return u/s 139 (5) incorporating the detail of challan of self assessment tax paid.
