01 October 2011 Iam an Income tax assesee.I had filed my return last year manually.In order to e file this year i had registered with the IT dept with my password and login name.But now i have forgotten my password.I cannot reset my password ,since i also have forgotten the answer to the secret question.Since i have not e filed last year,there is no efiling acknowledgemnt number.

please help me,what should i do?

01 October 2011 acknowledgement receipts no. provided on your ITR V is key for your problem.

01 October 2011 But sir,since i have not efiled last year there is no e filing acknowldgement number.So can i give my manual filed acknowledgement number.
