can an foreign investor give a loan of 1 cr worth indian rupees which is in euro basically to an indian private limited company or can it invest in an indian company.
if so please suggest is there any RBI guidelines.

The investor can give a loan or participate as equity investor. For the Same kindly refer to RBI guidlines (on ECB/FCCB) and DIPB guidelines.
