Dear Friends,
Requesyed to clarify whether the follwoing allowances received from the employer is exempted from the income u/s-10:
1. Fooding allowance received @ Rs.2000 pm.
2. Uniform allowance for maintenace @ Rs.1000 pm.

1. Fixed food allowance is fully taxable
2 Uniform allowance exempted up to the expenses incurred balance is taxable
