29 December 2014 i wanted to invest Rs 400000 in fixed deposit in national bank. plz tell me how to avoid the tds on fixed deposit interest income. my income is below the income tax slab rate .

29 December 2014 Submit Form 15G (Form 15H in case of senior citizen) in the bank. You can get this form in the bank itself. This you will have to submit every year in case you income is below the limit in future too.
