You have asked for depreciation file, their is no specific format for the calculation. However you may design your excel file by arranging the information in following way.
1. Details of the Assets, location, unit etc, 2. Date of installation for new assets or first day of FY 3. Value of Asset (Cenvat to be reduced), 4. Depreciation rates, 5. Date upto which depreciation is to be calculated. 6. Calculate number of days. 7. Apply formula for calculation of depreciation.
For additional depreciation for extra shift working you may design more working sheets in the said excel file in the same manner as described above. and have summerised at one sheet.
Remember, to charge 100% depreciation for the low value assets (i.e. below 5000.00).
