17 June 2009 Can anyone tell me the format / content of Forwarding letter and Authority letter to effect the new firm registration. Also is this letters to be signed by both the partners or by any one of them.

Its urgent. Reply me asap.

17 June 2009 Hi Rajan,
For firm registitration with the registrar of firm you have to take following steps.
1. Fill up the Form A & get it notorised. Form A is to be signed by all the partners.
2. Translate the partnership deed in regional rural language i.e. Hindi, Marathi, Gujrati ( The state in which you resides ) . Get the translated copy certified by Adv. or CA.
3. Pay the treasury challan of Rs. 500/- as fees for registration of partnership firm.
4. Get the xerox copy of your partnership deed and certify it by any partner as true copy. Dont send the original copy to the ROF.
5. Send all these documents to the Registrar of firm of your concerned area. For any further clarification contact ratansharma123@rediffmail.com
