08 September 2011 Is INFLATION ACCOUNTING part of CA FINAL syllabus for nov 2011 exam? i remember that there was a notification few months back that it has been removed.., kindly help!!!!!

23-06-2011 CA Final Announcement: Exclusion of Certain Topics from Financial Reporting and Advanced Management Accounting

After the Review of the Syllabus by Board of Studies and with expected areas to cover and to eliminate redundant topics, The Council of Board of Studies has announced that the following topics of CA Finals will be excluded from their respective subjects for the November 2011 Examination and Exams thereafter:

Paper 1 – Financial Reporting:

Inflation Accounting

Paper 5 – Advanced Management Accounting

Time Series Analysis
Test of Hypothesis
