12 September 2014 Heyya! I cleared my IPCC in may 2014 and i would be writing CA Final exam in May 2017. Could you please suggest a study plan for Final exam. I will joining a big 4 for articleship and i do want to start my final studies now itself to clear the exam in the first attempt. How shall i prepare for finals. I know still 2.5 years are there but is there any planner for a better preparation?

18 September 2014 too early to start as ICAI is planning to change the course completely in 2016.

regardless, you can start working on the IFRS, accounting standards, auditing standards etc..further Companies Act 2013 too can be covered. tax may go through a complete change by the time you write finals on account of DTC and GST etc.

18 September 2014 Oops!! So which is the right time to register for Finals. If i apply now then i wont be getting the required books!
