Filling of service tax return

My turnover is 11 lakh and i have take the registration in October'2010.

My qestion relate to:-

1. can i claim exemption limit 10 lac
2. if yes it is mandtory to shown total turnover in ST-3 and which column of st-3 i claim the deduction.

08 October 2011 1. if your previous year service is below 10L then u r eligible for 10L exemption, but from next year you will not avail the same.

2. yes total turnover less the exempted (10L) to be shown in part (II) Taxable amount charged .......

gross turnover
(less) amount charged for exempted services
