31 May 2013 I have to file a Income tax return for my assesee online for the f.y 2010-2011 [ A.y 2011-2012] i.e year ending 31.03.2011

will i be able to file, is Income tax site is accepting return for this year

31 May 2013 You can't file return of income for such return as well as income tax site shall not accept. however it will accept if you filing return of income either u/s 142(1) or 148 or 153A/153C.

01 June 2013 In case of any refund is there in such assessment year for which return filing was time barred can be done manually seeking condonation of delay

Please refer sec.119(2) read along with circular 8/2001 dated 16/05/2001.

Note: as I said above we can file return under this section only in case of refund or loss if any. if any payable you can go with above expert.
