04 February 2019 Is it mandatory to file income tax returns when gross revenue is above 2.5 lakh and taxable income after all deductions is below 2.5 lakh?

And in case of section 44AD presumptive taxation, is it mandatory to file income tax return when the taxable income (which is calculated using applying the 8%/6%) is below 2.5 lakhs?
