Filing of return in time but omitted to send itr v

sir
my client through somebody else has filed her it ret for a y 2011-12 on 10/06/2011 but omitted to send itr v which was
subsequently sent in the month of sep 2015. cpc rejected the same stating itr v recd after due date.
now what course is open to tax payer to claim her refund and how ? pl advice. here we can not file itr on line
as said ay is unavaible which may pl be noted.

Dear Vijay
There is no way out of this problem. Now he cannot claim the refund. The is gone now.
Only one way to claim is to apply to the concerned commissioner of income tax he may allow you the same to file. but you need a solid reason for non submission of return which you lack in your case.

Please file paper return and seek refund on the strength of CBDT Circular 9/2015 dated 9-6-2015.
