Sir,
My Company had demerged the manufacturing facilities to a newly formed company. In this case is it compulsory to file NIL e-tds returnfor the old TAN No. before filing surrender application.
Also please let me know the procedure for surrender of TAN No.

No. Nil TDS return is not mandatory
