31 December 2016 I am central Govt employee having with gross income less than 500000 can ITR filing is compulsory for me and can I file ITR for previous years

31 December 2016 Sir, for you itr filling is not mandatory if you have declared all your other income (eg. - FD interest) to the organisation in which you have worked and your employer has been deducted TDS on such income and salary income

31 December 2016 you can File itr for FY 15-16 but for FY 14-15 if your income is above taxable limit than it will be liable for penalty
