03 October 2010 if a person a farmer and he wants to file income tax return on the basis of agriculture
income for the loan.He has not filed any I.T.R. recently.and he wants to fill up I.T.R. last 3 years I.T.R. return.can he file return for this purpose.Aur in return ko file karte samay unke bich main kitne samay ka gap hona chahiye

03 October 2010 An Belated ITR can be filed within 1 year from the end of the assessment year or until the date of completion of assessment.

Hence u need to check if the 1 year is over & if not then he cannot file the ITR
