Can anybody let me know is there any FDI cap on investment in india. The company is in manufacturing of valves.
and also let me know applicable provisions,circulars

08 August 2009 FDI cap is industry specific The norm is not rigid and encourages bringing new and higher grade of technology than what is already available in the conutry. Secondly you have not indicated the size and nature of investment proposed whether its with or withour repatriation conditions. You can approach the local RBI office nearest to you for current details as this keeps varying frequently in keeping with Govt polices
