12 January 2012 I want to invest around Rs.50 Lac for 2 year in Fixed Deposit
Is it advisable to invest the same in only one Nationalized Bank or should I Breakup the same in 4 to 5 Banks

Also - is FD Interest Rates for 2 years going to further hike OR is this the right time to invest

12 January 2012 Since the amount involved is huge then if the rate of interst is same you can make deposit with same bank...

So far the interest rate is concerned i do not see any further rise in the rate of FD..

Other ways are also there to invest the fund but since you want to invest in FD so the answer is given.

12 January 2012 In today scenerio inflation rate rises in India with high percentage...nd there is no more diffrenece between inflation rate and interest rate on FD.

So in my view don't make all investment in FD....Make a portfolio for better return on investment.

invest some amount in mutual funds.
Some in fixed deposits.
Or min amount in market.

by consult with financial manager to make gud portfolio.
