Fd amount of vat need back for daman and diu registration no

25 May 2016 Dear sir,

Our's is Manufacturing concern,we had taken Vat/cst no of Daman and diu in the year 1996 and make FD of Rs.10000/- Maturity value of which on 2001 is 18896/-.

from 1996 to 1998 business continue and later no business in Daman.we dont know even whether vat/cst no cancell or not?

Only zerox copy of vat/cst no and FD is available with us.

we want to take back My FD,Kindly suggest procedure for the same.

25 May 2016 you have to contact with your juridiction vat authority with xeroxe copy of number and surrender the regd. number or request for giving the new security if you want to continue this REGD. number. at present this security amount i my opinion will raise by the deptt. it may rs. one lacs or Rs. 2 lacs.

Sir at present we not want to continue reg no,just want back 18000+interest from 2001 to till date.

but as per your reply can we surrender the same only on the basis of zerox copy or we have to prove as per department procedure for FIR and others.
