21 May 2013 Respected Sir,I want to know the process of factory accounts.
I have an interview in a food processing unit for the post of an accounts executive in factory. The co use tally software. the main roll is to maintains daily purchase,sale & stock.So please help me how those used by tally with example.
Pl help me it as soon as possible

09 July 2013 It is nothing you have to account for on the principales of accounting as and when purchases are there you have to debit purchases account and when out of the material purchase it is send for production then from material account it is to be transferred to stock or stores consumption account with the name of the item. You have to maintain the purchases on the basis of name of the items etc. and same treatment is to be done when you sale the finished goods.
