We have a Research & Development (BulkDrugs) center in the state of Telengana. Do we need to register the R&D Center under factories act and does R&D activity comes under manufacturing process as per factories act

30 October 2016 You can register under Shops and establishment act, mere research is not considered as factory, if you engage any production activity than you have registered under factories Act
