i am new to the export business. i am quoting less price when compared to actual price. i want to know the pricing methods and techniques. whom should i consult for this?

You need to study the value chain. This you can find out from changing the role in 180 degrees. You want to sell right? Go in the market to BUY the same and you will get the price.

pl see following - cost will be RM cost+ PM Cost + Direct Expenses + Freight Sea or Air charges + Insurance Charges +20% of total as overhead burden(depending on the business which u are in it may be changed) = your cost. now add the profit margin whatever you feel is appropriate and make that your sales price and convert the same into foreign currency. u can also taken notional interest cost into consideration for the period for which the invoice will be outstanding
