Export obligation under the advance authorisation scheme

16 April 2016 Dear Sir,

If an advance authorisation holder has sold its unit/branch under which the advance authorisation was obtained to its sister concern to which it was supposed to make the exports what are the implications?t
How do we calculate the export obligation in terms of quantity. I have been able to arrive at the EO in value but I am not clear about the quantity.

The DGFT has issued a notice for not meeting the export obligation

16 April 2016 Inform DGFT regarding "sale of business" and get the advance authorisation transferred to new unit.
Export by the unit will also be considered for meeting export obligation.
