plz explain the concept of explicit depreciation

Sec32(1) of IT act 1961
Provides dep of plant & machinery purchased newly and used for Production purpose in a manufacturing orginazation.
The rate of dep is 20% .If the assets has used less than 180 days rate of Dep will be 10%
