25 September 2014 IF IAM AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR ASSEMBLY ELECTION 2014 THEN THE EXPENDITURES MADE BY ME FOR THIS ELECTION CAMPAIGN IS EXEMPTED OR CAN I GET ANY REBATE FOR THAT ELECTION EXPENSES DONE BY ME ?

25 September 2014 since you cannot argue that you spent this money for earning any particular income, you wont be able to claim deduction....further, if you claim that politics is your business, then will you offer, in case you win the election, your salary and perks as business income?
