Exemption query for ipcc may-june 2014

09 May 2014 I did not fill my exemption in the Examination form (slipped my mind)
now I have some Questions...
1. Do i have to 'give the exam' OR 'absent it' for the exemption to automatically validate?
2. What if I gave the exam? And
(a) I scored less. Would the newly scored 'less' marks will be valid or the marks scored in Exemption?
(b) I scored more. Would the newly scored 'more' marks will be valid or the marks scored in Exemption?

this would answer what institute records say.

thereafter, the questions raised by you would need to be answered.

10 May 2014 And in the Disclaimer it says...
THE BENEFIT OF VALID EXEMPTIONS GRANTED WILL BE EXTENDED, TO THE BONA FIDE CANDIDATE, AUTOMATICALLY, AFTER DUE VERIFICATION OF ALL RELEVANT DETAILS, IN THE NORMAL COURSE, AS PER THE LAID DOWN PROCEDURES, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE FACT WHETHER THE CANDIDATE CLAIMS IT IN HIS EXAMINATION APPLICATION OR NOT.

Now can u please answer my above questions...??

10 May 2014 it means that your exemption is valid. you dont have to appear for the relevant papers again. focus on the remaining papers and if you still are not sure, call ICAI examination helpline once.
