Exemption of Subject in PE II exam

17 March 2009 One of my friend has appeared in PEII in May 2007 and got exemption in one subject (Account) in First group. Now, since then he could not clear the other two subjects in first group.

According to me, his exemption in account will be withdrawn in June 2009 as three attempts are completed from May 2007.

Am I right? Please comment.

nov 2007
may 2008
nov 2008

no exemption is carried forward to may 2009
as 3 attempts completed

if not exemption is carried forward only if he had not written the exams in the abouve years mentioned
