Exemption of freight for transportation of goods by road

Pls clarify :- whether freight for transportation of goods by road is fully exempt or to the extent of 750 or 1500

25 September 2017 Fully exempted less than 750...
If GTA taxable above 750....
Transport of any goods, where the gross amount charged for transportation for a consignment transported in a single carriage is less than Rs. 1,500 - Exempt

Other than GTA / local tempo freight is fully exempted...

25 September 2017 Mr Raja has explained 750/ & 1500/ freight. But in case goods are carried by GTA then récipient is liable for GST under RCM

26 September 2017 Dear Chhatra sir,
Raja sir has explained the criteria the goods carriage by GTA to the extent of 750 is exempt however in case of single carriage is exempt upto 1500,
Hence if we pay freight 750 or below than No Need to pay Any GST Not even under RCM
