16 October 2012 Can the Consignee address mention in the excise/tax Invoice (6 months Old) of the manufacturer be amended.

revision is to include a
Consigneed addess as :
goverment organization (Jharkhand) A/c of a trader (Pune)

Initialy only the trader name (Pune) was mentioned

Now the government orgainzation, is can claim excise benefit.

please suggest is the same possible.

22 October 2012 As invoice is a document of delivery also not possible. Trader could be registered as a dealer and pass on the ED.
