Please tell me
As per excise rules what is the maximum time allowed by the excise law to reach the material into the customer premises in local area
i.e. actual distance is of one hour.
but material is reaching at the spot after 10 hrs.
is it possible and will be allowed by the authorities

Undue delay in transportation will always cause suspicion once noticed by the central excise or vat authorities. Since the invoice shows the time of despatch, delay in transportation shall be explainable. There is no time limit under any statute.
