11 November 2012 PLEASE HELP

One of my client who is manufacture of s s Utensils whose turnover reached around 1.37 crs till now & its increasing in coming month.is dere any way by which this excise duty can be saved ??.as client do not want to go for excise his opinion is that if he go for excise he has to pay 12.36% excise & due to competition in market its difficult to charge such burden on customer & that would ended with loosing of customer.so please help on this issue.

11 November 2012 This is the case of low time businessman. For them the source will be open one more establishment under another name, owned by another person.

but the problem of change in name is that right now products sale in one name that famous in customers & therefore client is not interested in another name

11 November 2012 You can not have an apple and eat it too. You do not want to grow big to get rid of competition. You also want to encash the brand goodwill which you have developed over the years. You need to strike off the balance between the two.

i understand but last year turnover was 65 lakhs (F Y 2011-12) & he is not ready to go for excise & such compiance & his earnings is around 10% & by giving 12.36% excise he will not continue business this way & customers also not going to buy in this recession times.
