sir, my name is CA Tapan Pandya.I m a fresher CA and want to start practice in the field of excise customs and service tax.there are very few CAs in our town like city who practice in this field so there is ready market for me becoz my Senior CA is ready to give me clients...
so, plz guide me abtt what kind of services that i can offer to my clients in this three areas mainly in excise and servie tax so that i can take initial start up...
main reason why i cant ask anyone else in my own city is professional secrecy..

Get at least 1/2 commentaries + CET + CE manual + excus or taxmannonline.
On this site there are 2 downloadable books on central excise and servic etax in the files section.
Ensure you have adequate knowledge. When in doubt consult a senior [ may notbe in your town]
My understanding has been that sharing of infromation only enhacnes ones yearnign to learn more.
Intial areas couldbe g\applying for registration online, guidacne on making payments, filing returns. As and when opportunity comes of some issue which requires resolution - study and confirm even if you think you know the answer. Once you have expertise [ may takle3-4 years if you get exposure] Onew of the \best methods is to join a professional who is provding services in that area- may notbe a CA.
