11 July 2013 good evening experts,
we are excisable unit. sir we have take registration of sale as a trader from sale tax deparement . then sir we are selling our raw material as a trader which we purchase from our vendor. then sir my query is that will we sell this raw material with excise add 12.36%.please help sir in this regard.

11 July 2013 Trader can not add excise duty they can only pass the duty. Only registered with excise manufacturer can add the excise duty at the time of sale of goods.

11 July 2013 sir we are manufacturer and we excise no. sir. then we can sale our raw material with add excise duty 12% education cess 2% and shec @1%

11 July 2013 but sir this is our sale then will i not add excise duty 12.36% in our sale bill of raw material.we have permission from sale tax dept. for sale raw material as an trader.
