I have read somewhere that the excise invoice should be pre printed with basic informations like Name of manufacturer address range excise registration number etc.. so my querry is whether these informations can be rubber stamped and such excise invoice is acceptable

Name of manufacturer, address, Range & Division details and ECC No. should be pre-printed.

thanks sir.. i was eagerly waiting for the reply, though my querry has been resolved i want to ask one thing that if a manufacturer is submitting excise invoice with details rubber stamped is he evading from excise duty and availing false claim or some other reasons may be behind it..
