16 December 2015 it is mandatory for removal of goods under rule 11 against invoice , here invoice means any invoice or only Excise Invoice. If excisable goods removed under VAT invoice may claim benefit of CENVAT Credit?

17 December 2015 Sir Thanks for your answer but my question is, whether i can claim CENVAT Credit while my supplier issue a VAT/Retail Invoice in place of Excise Invoice

17 December 2015 In retail & Vat invoice excise part is not mentioned anywhere then hou can u avail cenvat credit. If supplier pass on excise duty to you then he can issue excise invoice with showing pass on with unit rate & passed duty & same credit you can avail.

17 December 2015 Thanks sir, On VAT/Retail Invoice supplier mentioned his Excise Registration No. is it a valid invoice for claiming CENVAT Credit.

17 December 2015 In this invoice all excise details & excise portion are shown then you can claim cenvat credit. Cenvat Credit claim only on Duplicate For Transporter Copy.
